📌 Our approach: a full financial diagnostic of your business, followed by concrete recommendations and a costed action plan to improve profitability and secure cash. First consultation free, response within 24 hours.

Why bring in a financial consultant in Algeria?

Many Algerian SMEs run into financial difficulty not for lack of business, but for lack of rigorous financial steering. The order book is full, the accounting result is positive — and cash still tightens month after month.

The reason is almost always structural: profit measures performance over a period, cash measures a position on a date. A financial consultant works on the second as much as on the first — identifying levers, quantifying risk and documenting decisions.

What makes an engagement worthwhile. From our engagements, financial advisory is only worth what it leaves behind: a dashboard the manager maintains personally, assumptions traceable to their source, and a dated action plan. A report nobody reopens has changed nothing.

Our five areas of intervention

01

Full financial diagnostic

Analysis of three years of financial statements, identification of weaknesses, assessment of financial structure and debt levels. Deliverable: a prioritised risk matrix and a costed action plan.

02

Cash flow optimisation

Reducing the working capital requirement, revising customer and supplier terms, and setting up a rolling cash forecast maintained weekly over a quarter.

03

Financial restructuring

Reworking bank debt, preparing rescheduling requests and rebalancing the capital structure. Timing matters as much as amount: a request filed before the due date does not meet the same fate as a fix after an incident.

04

Funding strategy

Identifying suitable sources — bank credit, leasing, Islamic financing, institutional guarantees from FGAR and CGCI-PME, support schemes — and assembling the corresponding files.

05

Financial development plan

Three-to-five-year projections under three scenarios, a full financial model, and support for investment decisions.

Which intervention matches which need?

SituationInterventionIndicative lead time
Cash under strainDiagnostic + recovery plan5–10 days
Financing an expansionBank file + techno-economic study10–20 days
Eroding profitabilityCost and margin analysis by activity7–15 days
Merger or disposalFinancial due diligence15–30 days
Uncontrolled currency exposureExposure quantification and hedging options5–10 days

Indicative lead times observed on our engagements, from receipt of a complete file. They are not a contractual commitment.

Currency risk is not inevitable. Bank of Algeria Regulation No. 20-04 of 15 March 2020 covers, among other things, exchange-risk hedging instruments. Those instruments therefore exist within the Algerian regulatory framework. From our engagements, they remain little used by SMEs — most often because the question was never put to the bank.

How does an engagement run?

A

Scoping — free of charge

A one-hour discussion to define the real problem, the question to settle and the documents required. Outcome: a written scope and a quote. No commitment.

B

Collection and restatement

Financial statements, bank repayment schedules, aged customer and supplier balances, structuring contracts. Data is restated before analysis: that is where most discrepancies surface.

C

Analysis and modelling

Building the financial model and scenarios. Every assumption is traced to its source — quotation, contract, statement or regulatory text.

D

Presentation and handover

Conclusions presented to management, model and dashboard handed over, training on how to update them. The tool stays with you and remains usable without us.

What we do not do. We do not keep your books, we do not audit your accounts, and we guarantee no credit decision: that rests solely with the banks, under their own policies and the applicable regulatory framework. Our role is to make your file defensible and your decisions documented.

Frequently asked questions

When should you bring in a financial consultant in Algeria? +

When cash is under strain, before any significant investment, when applying for bank financing, if profitability is eroding, or during a restructuring. The most useful moment is always the earliest: a squeeze anticipated can be managed, a squeeze endured is negotiated from weakness.

How much does financial advisory cost for an SME in Algeria? +

A full financial diagnostic starts from DZD 80,000. For ongoing monthly support, our fees range between DZD 30,000 and DZD 100,000 depending on intensity. Initial scoping is free and leads to a written quote before any commitment.

Can you help us obtain an FGAR or CGCI-PME guarantee? +

Yes. We prepare files against the eligibility criteria published by FGAR and CGCI-PME and align them with the bank file. We play no part in those bodies' decisions: our work concerns the quality, consistency and completeness of the file submitted.

Do you work outside Algiers? +

Yes. Engagements combine remote meetings with on-site visits where the file requires it — particularly for field verification in market research or for a production-asset inventory.

What does the company keep at the end of the engagement? +

The financial model, the cash flow dashboard and the costed action plan, in a format your team can update itself. Traceability of assumptions to their sources is part of the deliverable: that is what makes the file defensible in front of a third party.
