Back to the shop

The "setting up a company in Algeria" field is saturated with guides that stop at registration. This workshop begins where they stop: what is decided at incorporation and determines, years later, what can be taken out of the country.

The handout cites the applicable texts with their exact references, so participants can verify them for themselves.

That insistence on references comes from the audience itself. A foreign director almost always goes away to have what he heard checked — by his lawyer, by the parent company, by his bank on the other side. A statement without a reference does not survive that journey. The calendar of formalities follows the mirror rule: it gives the delays we actually see elapse rather than the ones announced, because it is the gap between the two that shifts a funding plan.

The workshop gives a framework and a list of questions to ask; it does not examine your structure. As soon as the legal form has to be settled for your case, or the split of capital between named shareholders, or the way funds will come in, we leave training for the structure review, which is held privately on your project. The same limit applies to instruments: we do not draft them, and legal advice belongs to the notary and the lawyer.
