In brief. This site measures its traffic, but only if you agree to it: until you click “Accept”, nothing is stored on your device and no browsing data is sent. Declining restricts nothing of what you can read or request. Otherwise the site collects what you type into a form, and nothing else. Three foreign providers are involved in the chain — form delivery, font display, and, once you have agreed, audience measurement — and this page says so plainly, because that is precisely the point privacy policies most often leave out.

Who processes your data

The data controller is ProfitPilot NextGen Consulting, operated by BENSAID Farouk, with its place of business at Cité Soummam, Bab Ezzouar, Algiers, Algeria.

Any request concerning your data is handled at that address. It is received and dealt with personally.

What is collected, and through which channel

Nothing is collected without your knowledge as you browse. The audience measurement described below only starts after your explicit agreement; apart from it, the only personal data reaching us is what you enter yourself.

ChannelDataStatus
Contact formName, company, e-mail address, telephone, service requested, budget range, messageName and e-mail address required; the rest optional
Newsletter sign-upE-mail address onlyRequired
Order request from the shopWhat you enter in the order form, together with the reference of the product concernedOptional
Audience measurementPages viewed, referrer, device type — as technical, non-nominative identifiersOnly if you have accepted it
Display preferencesLight or dark theme, chosen language, and your answer to the consent bannerKept in your browser, never transmitted

What the site does not do. No advertising cookie is set and no advertising is served here. No data is sold, rented or exchanged. No decision concerning you is taken automatically. And no measurement begins before you have answered the banner: refusal is the default state, including on your very first visit.

Sensitive data — origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade-union membership, health, genetic or biometric data — is neither requested nor processed. Please do not include any in a free-text message.

For what purpose, and on what basis

The law requires that data be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, and not subsequently used in a way incompatible with them. Ours number four.

1
Answering your enquiry. You write, we reply. Basis: your own approach, and your consent to being contacted back.
2
Quoting for and performing an engagement, where the contact leads to a professional relationship. Basis: pre-contractual steps and then the contract itself.
3
Sending you our publications, if and only if you subscribed. Basis: your consent, withdrawable at any time and without justification.
4
Meeting our legal obligations — accounting, tax and professional — and responding to duly empowered authorities. Basis: legal obligation.

No other purpose is pursued. In particular, an enquiry about a service does not sign you up to the newsletter: those are two separate consents.

Who receives this data, and what leaves Algeria

This is the section most privacy policies dispatch in a single sentence. It deserves better, because a site that hosts neither its forms nor its fonts necessarily routes data through third parties.

PartyWhat it receivesWhere
ProfitPilot — BENSAID FaroukEverything you sendAlgeria
Form delivery serviceThe contents of the contact and order forms, and the address entered for the newsletterOutside Algeria
Font providerYour IP address and your browser's technical characteristics, purely from displaying the pageOutside Algeria
Google — tag manager and audience measurementPages viewed, referrer, browser characteristics, IP address. Nothing until you have acceptedOutside Algeria
Site hostTechnical connection logsPer the hosting contract in force

What this means for you. By sending a form, you accept that the data entered is routed by a technical provider established outside Algeria. By accepting audience measurement, you likewise accept that browsing data is sent to Google, outside Algeria. To avoid both: decline the banner, and write directly to contact@profitpilot.dz or call +213 550 02 02 87.

Your data is disclosed to no commercial partner, no advertising network and no data broker. It may however be disclosed to a judicial or administrative authority requesting it in the forms provided by law.

Reliance on these providers is under review, towards hosting the forms, the fonts and the audience measurement on our own servers. This page will be updated once that is done.

How long your data is kept

Data is not kept beyond the period necessary for the purpose it was collected for, subject to the statutory periods binding on us.

CategoryPeriod
Enquiry that led to no engagementThree years from the last exchange, then erasure
Client fileDuration of the engagement, then the retention periods imposed by accounting, tax and professional obligations
Newsletter subscriptionUntil you unsubscribe
Display preferencesUntil you clear your browser storage

Documents covered by a statutory retention obligation cannot be erased on request before the applicable period expires. That is the only limit that can be raised against an erasure request.

Your rights under Law 18-07

Law no. 18-07 of 10 June 2018, as amended and supplemented by Law no. 25-11 of 24 July 2025, grants you rights that we give effect to on a simple request, free of charge.

RightWhat it entitles you to obtain
Information
(art. 32)
To be informed, expressly and unambiguously, before any collection — which is what this page is for
Access
(art. 34)
Confirmation that processing concerns you, its purposes, the categories of data, the recipients, and communication of your data in intelligible form together with any available information on its origin
Rectification
(art. 35)
Updating, rectification, erasure or blocking of data whose processing does not comply with the law, in particular where it is incomplete or inaccurate
Objection
(art. 36)
To object, on legitimate grounds, to processing concerning you — and, without having to justify yourself, to the use of your data for marketing purposes

A deadline that binds us. Article 35 requires the controller to carry out the necessary rectifications, at no cost to the applicant, within ten days of being seised. If we refuse or stay silent within that period, you may refer the matter to the national data protection authority, which appoints one of its members to conduct the necessary investigations and have the rectifications made.

Article 37 further prohibits direct marketing by electronic mail, automated calling system or fax towards a person who has not given prior consent. We do not market that way; any message you receive that does not follow from your own subscription should be reported to us.

The right of rectification may be exercised by the heirs of the person concerned.

How to exercise these rights. Write to contact@profitpilot.dz stating the right invoked. Proof of identity will be requested: this is not red tape, it is what stops a third party obtaining your data under your name. You also retain the right to refer the matter directly to the national data protection authority.

Professional secrecy: a protection that adds to this one

Exchanges that turn into an engagement fall under a separate and more demanding regime than data protection. The professional secrecy binding a statutory auditor covers all information obtained in the course of the engagement.

In practice, that means information relating to a file is disclosed to no one — no more to a curious third party than to a commercial partner — outside the cases the law requires and the persons you expressly designate.

That regime sits on top of this policy: where the two diverge, the more protective one applies.

Cookies and local storage

The site serves no advertising and sets no advertising cookie. It does however carry out audience measurement, and only if you accept it: a banner asks you on your first visit, and nothing starts before you have answered.

Refusal is the default state. Until you click “Accept”, the tag manager is loaded but silenced: it writes nothing to your device and sends no browsing data. This is not a management promise, it is how the mechanism is configured — refusal is set before the container even starts.

Only three items are written to your browser's local storage, and they never leave it:

KeyPurposeDuration
pp_themeRemember your choice between light and dark displayUntil you clear it
pp_langRemember the language you read the site inUntil you clear it
pp_consentRemember your answer to the banner, so you are not asked again on every pageUntil you clear it

If you accept audience measurement, the tag manager and the tools it drives then set their own cookies, with their own durations. They are set only from your agreement onwards.

Change your mind, at any time. A consent that cannot be withdrawn is not one. Clearing your browser storage has the same effect: the banner will reappear on your next visit.

Clearing your browser storage erases these items with no consequence, other than losing your display preferences.

Security, and changes to this page

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to messages received is limited to those who need it, and the technical providers we use are required to offer appropriate security and confidentiality guarantees.

No arrangement is infallible. Should an incident affecting personal data occur, the persons concerned and the national authority would be informed on the terms laid down by the regulations.

This policy changes with the site and with the applicable law. It carries an update date, shown at the foot of the page. Any substantive change — new processing, new recipient, new transfer — will be flagged on the home page.

For any question, one address: contact@profitpilot.dz.
