Techno-economic study to the AAPI template

Since Executive Decree 26-154, the techno-economic study is no longer a free-form document: its plan is fixed by Annex V, in nine parts. A well-made study presented in a different order is sent back on form.

We build the study directly into that plan, with the financial model that feeds it. The fee depends on the size and complexity of the project, which is why it is quoted "from" and fixed after the scoping meeting.

The nine parts are not all filled with the same materials. Some are entirely our work: the financial structure, the forecast operations, the profitability indicators. Others can only come from you or your providers — supplier quotations, technical data on the process, the position of the land. Those items fall outside our perimeter and the study nonetheless rests on them: as long as they are missing, the corresponding amounts remain orders of magnitude, and a study built on orders of magnitude shows on reading.

The scoping meeting settles the scope and the fee; the financial model is built before any writing; the nine parts are then assembled in order and under the expected headings. You review, the two rounds of corrections follow, and the closing meeting ends the engagement. Filing at the one-stop shop is yours to do, and following the file up is not part of the package. We answer for the study's compliance with the official template and for the coherence of its model; we do not answer for the judgement made on your project, which belongs to the administration alone. A study that is faultless in form may carry a project that is not accepted.
